I took these pictures at the Augusta National's 2003 Masters Golf Tournament. We had 4-5" of rain during Masters week. The course was closed Monday & Thursday due to rain (Saturday & Sunday were gorgeous). All the rain resulted in lots of mud. At the bottom of this page is a picture of my shoes used during the week (they were retired on Sunday & put in the trash). Kudos to the National's outstanding ground crew for keeping the fairways & greens in great shape. The rain really limited photography this year. I was also trying to figure out lots of new things this year. I switched gear from Nikon to Canon & moved from film to digital all at once just before the tournament. This ended up being more of a learning curve than I expected. Maybe the weather & photographer will both be better next year.
